Weekend is here....so is a new lens.

This weekend is looking to be nice (weather wise) just received a new lens from lensrentals.com. It's a Tamron 24-70 f2.8 zoom lens that i'm considering buying. I'll be renting the Canon L 24-75 f2.8 for comparison later and see how they both stack up.I've read and heard good things on both lenses, it's just a matter of cost. 600 bucks vs 1000 bucks...so let's see who comes up on top.

Coakley's Pub...refreshing drink

After walking around New Cumberland on a Solo photowalk I rewarded myself with a pint of Guinness at the Coakley's pub...This place has some of the best nachos and wings I've ever had and the atmosphere is very laid back... Definetly adding it to my places to be on a nice evening.

Hershey Gardens Butterfly House

Hershey Gardens Butterfly House, originally uploaded by JesusM...

Got this very nice capture of a Monarch butterfly in the butterfly house in Hershey Gardens. The light was right and the temperature was perfect. These little guys were fluttering all over the place... Fun fact a butterflies top speed is 12mph.

Not really sure how I did this,But I have seemed to have created a 3d like image out of a normal shot..cool.

Took a little trip to Washington DC this Friday. Dropped Deniz off at The Black Cat and walked all the way down to the National Mall where all the monuments were located and snapped some photos along the way. It was a good day for a walk too, weather was nice the light was also co-operating with me. Not too shabby if I say so myself.
